So, hey everyone! I am still working on finishing up my last semester of school (11 days til graduation!! 8 days to write a ten pager and do three exams!!) but I wanted to let you know about this awesome opportunity this Saturday for the needy. Photographer Jeremy Cowart has spearheaded this national event and I am so excited to be a part of it. When I first heard of it, I was so bummed that I would not be able to join, since it is the last Saturday before my three finals…but then Courtney Navey of Always Autumn Studios, an awesome photographer who also happens to go to church with me, contacted me about doing a group effort, and this, my friends is how it works: If you or someone you know is needy (disabled, homeless, jobless, single parent, etc.) and would not otherwise be able to get a portrait made (family or otherwise) and if you live in the Wake Forest/North Raleigh area, come to North Wake Church between 12:30 and 6:00pm and get your portrait made for FREE. Several area photogs will be there, as well as people doing make-up, etc. I have a flier below, but check out http://www.alwaysautumnstudios.com/#/hp-home/ for more info.
