Melissa

I LOVE being a mom. I could eat sushi 3 times a day. If bookstores had beds in them, I'd have no reason to leave. My heart gets all fluttery when I am in a stationery store. Spanglish is my first language. Ikea is my new obsession. I listen to Paramore when editing photos, working out, and giving birth. I crave fast lenses and chocolate chip cookies every other day. Jesus Christ saved my life and continues to save me from myself.

I eat Chick-Fil-A four times a week, wish I had time to be cycling again, and bake a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies at least twice a month. (Why? Because my wife loves them.)

It’s more than a building. It’s an answer to prayer.

That’s what anyone involved with the ministry of the Corporate Chaplains of America would tell you. Corporate Chaplains of America began over a decade ago, and on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, several hundred gathered at the newly built Headquarters for a celebration. Everyone we met was super friendly, the building was beautiful, and the ceremony was top-notch. There was this awesome “open-air” painter, Dan Nelson painted not only several paintings within the building, but painted the actual dedication as it was happening! It was AMAZING! We have had the privilege of shooting the progress of the construction from when it looked like this:

CCA2-01

and this:
CCA2-02

Until it looked like this
CCA35-02

And this:
CCA35-01

We also were thrilled to shoot that blessed day of dedication! We could feel the hope, the excitement, the blessing that this ministry holds for the future and look forward to seeing them accomplish great things for the kingdom.
