birthday love.

Oh, I had a wonderful birthday yesterday!! My sweet husband (who had the day off) let me take a morning nap while he made me sweet potato pancakes, and brought me my present to wake me up– a 60 minute massage at a nearby spa!! WOOHOO! Then we scurried about to get the kids to the pediatrician (regular appointment), picked up our van from the shop, dropped off the one we were borrowing, and went out on a date!
We ate at one of our favorite local places– Hayashi. We ate up some delicious sushi, miso soup, tried some sake, and had a wonderful time. We made it out in time to try the new popcorn specialty store, Palsies, and I am so going back. I loved it! We then made it to the movies to see Did you Hear about the Morgans? which we thought was pretty cute. Thanks to Grandma Pearce for babysitting the kiddos!! I just feel so blessed…I mean, don’t these faces just warm your heart? They warm mine!
