For us, part of what makes photography a passion is a candid, relaxed shooting style–and variety in each situation. It’s challenging for us to find new creative ways of capturing the essence of who someone is. Not just what they look like, but who they are. Some of my favorite photos of my family members are ones where they let their true colors shine through.
We also love to shoot in fun environments! We love colors. And great architecture. And open fields. And, for kids, anywhere they love. We shoot exclusively on location. We prefer a relaxed, more candid style of shooting, so if you would really like a traditional, posed portrait, we probably aren’t for you. But, there are lots of photographers out there who would love to oblige that wish! Yes, we are serious about that…if we are going to love what we do, we are not going to shoot typical traditional portraits. We welcome your suggestions, especially if they are creative and fun.
